Just before 4 a.m. Saturday, the Danbury Fire Department was dispatched to the area of West Wooster Street and Garfield Avenue by Western Connecticut 911 along with City of Danbury EMS and the Police Department for a report of a vehicle into a house with possible entrapment.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a Ford pickup truck that had careened into a house injuring the driver and two occupants, Gagliardo said. All of the injured were transported to Western Connecticut Health Network Danbury Emergency Department with advanced life support ambulances, but all injuries appeared to be minor, according to Gagliardo.

The Fire Department, along with building officials, remained on scene to assist in the cleanup efforts and confirm the stability of the structure.

The Red Cross was requested to assist the remaining occupants due to the damage.
